Crafting Your Intimate Artisan Portraits…
The delicious experience begins with a consultation to design your session. Your choice of location, stylist, wardrobe selection and mood will be discussed in detail in preparation for the session. Sessions can be at our private Alameda studio, a boutique hotel, an urban industrial location or vintage barn location. Your home can also be used if there is sufficient natural light and space for your desired look.
In this busy day and age, it is hard enough to carve out time to celebrate and pamper yourself at all, much less take a whole day to plan a session and another for the photo shoot. We realize this, being busy women ourselves, so we streamlined the consultation process to fit your schedule, providing advice on wardrobe, styling and how to prepare for your session. We also keep the shooting schedule manageable, achieving great variety with two visions in half the amount of time. Sessions are available weekdays and on select weekends for an additional fee. The session begins with our make-up and hair stylist perfecting your look while Kim and Anna conspire to incorporate your style and their artistic vision on set. The session will include several looks and will last approximately 3 to 4 hours depending on the location and package selected. Anna and Kim work as a dynamic duo, taking turns directing the session, styling the client and shooting from various angles simultaneously to capture different perspectives. The end result is a mesmerizing collection of images that reflect your delicious self. Packages can also include multi-media high definition video interspersed with the still images into a fusion dvd.
Two weeks after the session, your images will be ready for viewing at an in-person post consultation at the Alameda studio. The artists will walk you through the collection and collaborate with you in choosing the best images to complete your boudoir book. Any of your retouching requests will be discussed in detail, and we will explore other product options available to show off your delicious boudoir images. Online viewing is available for out of town clients, but for in town clients we highly recommend an in-person post consultation so that the artists can guide you through creating your finished products to be shared with someone you love or solely for your own appreciation and celebration of you.
